Food supplement based on Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Astaxanthin, Lycopene, Trans-Resveratrol, DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid), EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid), Coenzyme Q10, EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate), Taurine, Zinc, Copper, Vitamins A, E and C, Selenium and group B Vitamins, essential for healthy eyes. Lutein and Zeaxanthin are carotenoids present in the retina and lens. They protect the photoreceptors, absorbing and filtering the harmful component of light radiation and protecting the retina from the oxidative stress associated with physiological and ageing processes. Astaxanthin is a carotenoid with 300 times more antioxidant capacity than lutein. Lycopene is a carotenoid present in the ciliary body and the retinal pigment epithelium. It acts as an antioxidant, eliminating the free radicals of ocular metabolism. Trans-Resveratrol protects the eye tissues from abnormal new vessel formation, a process associated with blindness that can affect the retina and choroids. DHA is a polyunsaturated fatty acid, the deficiency of which is associated with reduced visual acuity. EPA is a precursor of its synthesis. Coenzyme Q10 acts as a protector of the optic nerve. EGCG has powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. Taurine is an essential amino acid for cats, and is necessary for the maintenance of the normal structure and function of the retina. Its deficiency causes serious damage to the retina. Zinc and Copper are essential components of cytoplasmatic superoxide dismutase (SOD), one of the main enzyme systems that neutralises the free radicals that are produced by energy metabolism and exposure to light. Vitamins A, E and C and Selenium protect the cells from the damage caused by free radicals. Group B Vitamins are essential for neural, and therefore visual, activity.

Indications
• Coadjuvant therapy in degenerative conditions of the retina and lens.
• Tissue protection against photo-oxidative stress caused by different
ocular diseases.
• Protection against aberrant neovascularisation associated with blindness,
affecting the retina and choroid.
• Protection of the optic nerve.

Daily Dose
Cats:
• Up to 5 kg: 1 squirt.
• 5 kg or more: 2 squirts.

Dogs:
• Up to 5 kg of weight: 1 squirt;
• From 5 to 10 kg: 2 squirts.
• From 10 to 15 kg: 3 squirts.
• From 15 to 20 kg: 4 squirts.
• From 20 to 25 kg: 5 squirts.
• From 25 to 30kg: 6 squirts.
• From 30 to 35 kg: 7 squirts.
• 35 kg or more: 8 squirts.
Administer directly or mix with regular food.
