COMPOSITION AND USE

Macrogol 3350 is the only osmotic laxative with level of evidence 1 and grade of recommendation A, recommended for the treatment of constipation by the World Gastroenterology Organization. It is also recommended as a first line treatment for functional constipation, cases of “entrapment” in children, and as maintenance therapy.
