Psyllium is the common name used for several members of the plant genus plantago indica. When mixed water it transfroms to a thick gel. Psyllium is mainly used as a dietary fiber in order to relieve symptoms of both constipation and mild diarrhea and sometimes as a food thickener.
Recommended use: 1 ts per day in water.
