MAG 100 is Magnesium, Potassium and Vitamin C dietary supplement. It helps to restore the hydrosaline balance when there are imbalances with a consequent performance drop after an intense physical activity and an excessive loss of salt due to sweating. For prevention reasons, the assumption of a correct saline mix is important for those athletes who train intensely and, at the same time, are forced to slimming to be within the limits of their sport category.
Magnesium is an essential mineral for energy production, muscles contraction and regulation of smooth muscle relaxation; a series of scientific data endorses the hypothesis that the availability of magnesium is directly linked to fatigue resistance, stress and cramps onset.
The recommended daily requirement of Magnesium is 375 mg, but can increase in situations of prolonged training or excessive sweating.
Potassium also exerts an essential action in muscle contraction and energy production: an insufficient absorption of this mineral or an excessive elimination due to high sweating because of debilitation states, intense physical activity or specific weather situations (high temperature and humidity), may lead to rapid fatigue, reduced ability to react, joint pain and muscle cramps.
The recommended daily requirement of Potassium is not defined by precise rules, but, in conditions of increased demand, a daily dose of 250 mg is indicated.
Vitamin C stimulates cellular metabolism, acts as a catalyst in cellular respiration and is useful for collagen formation (intercellular cement of connective tissues), which is fundamental to maintain cartilage tissues, blood vessels and bones, elastic. It is also a good antioxidant: increases resistance to infectious diseases, contributes to recovery from physical fatigue and fights nitrosamines.
